Sainte Colombe-en-Auxois is a small village (60 habitants) situated in the hills of the department "Côte d'Or" in Burgundy.

Sainte-Colombe-En-Auxois is a small quiet village situated in the hills of the Côte d’Or. It’s only a three hours drive from Paris.
It’s situated on a hill side at an altitude of 400 meters.
There is no house to be seen that is less than a hundred years old. In fact, most houses were built centuries ago. It is as though time has stood still for a long time here.
Sainte-Colombe-En-Auxois offers many opportunities to go for a stroll, a ride on a bike or go for a drive.
Around the village you’ll find many square kilometres of unspoild scenery with beautiful panoramic views over the hills and valleys.
Sainte-Colombe-En-Auxois doesn’t have any shops, but in the next town (4,5 kms) you will find a small shop for bread and your daily groceries. A little bit further down (Vitteaux, Venarey-les-Laumes and Semur-En-Auxois) you will find bigger supermarkets and other shops as well.

Peaceful surroundings
Sainte Colombe is a peaceful village and therefore the accommodation is not suitable for big parties with a lot of noise.
Courtyard with garden and terrace
The courtyard invites to relax. Lots of space with lawns on both sides of the driveway, tables and chairs for a breakfast or dinner outside, benches and wooden structures to unload. That all with a splendid view over the Burgundy hills…
A little village in Burgundy
Sainte Colombe, its castle, its goat farm (delicious cheese) and its sixty habitants…. The houses with their red roof tiles, bunches and green meadows, around its little church of the 17th century, has kept all its loveliness and tranquillity during many ages. Above that… the castle: in the morning the sun kisses the colorful ochre of the Italian style façade.

On the courtyard there is a parking place for 8 cars and just before the entrance even more.
